Second Chances Dinner a Success!

The Lakeland Animal Shelter would like to thank all who supported the Second Chances Dinner and auction on May 8th at the Abbey Resort in Fontana.

This year’s event raised more than $80,000, which will be used for operating expenses for the shelter's care of homeless animals in 2015. The operating expense for the Lakeland Animal Shelter is in excess of $750,000 for the more than 3,000 animals that are cared for by the shelter each year. The success of events such as the Second Chances Dinner is essential for the care of these homeless animals to continue each year.
