The Lakeland Animal Shelter is dependent upon the generosity of its donors—people like you! It is necessary for us to ask the community to help sustain the lives of those animals within our care. It is your contributions that make a difference; it is through your generosity that the day-to-day lives of these animals includes food, medical attention, grooming and loving care; and it is through your assistance that LAS can offer educational and nurturing programs for the betterment of all.
The support of our members makes LAS life-saving programs and services possible. Your monthly membership makes you an important part of the nurturing care that lost, stray, and abandoned animals receive at LAS. Working together we can improve the care for all companion animals.
Membership Benefits:
- Membership key tag: identifies you as a member of the Lakeland Animal Shelter and entitles members to discounts at participating businesses who offer discounts to our members (see below).
- A current membership offers you discounts on adoption fees at the Lakeland Animal Shelter.
- Free identification tag for your dog and a reduced cost microchip for your dog or cat.
- 10% discount on Shelter Gear merchandise.
